ABOUT US
Tree Cellos is an international creative collaboration born in Montenegro. Founded in 2025 by three exceptional musicians — Milan Ninković, Olesya Anakovskaya, and Vladimir Stoletov — the ensemble grew from their shared work with the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra and their passion for chamber music and exploring new cello repertoire.
Tree Cellos brings together three distinct European cello traditions: the Serbian-Austrian, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow schools. Their experience in the symphony orchestra has taught them to listen to one another intuitively, allowing these different musical backgrounds to complement rather than compete with each other.
Through Vladimir Stoletov’s arrangements, three cellos become one living, breathing voice — connecting different musical traditions, backgrounds, and countries.
